Refund & Exchange Policy

MeatLo! deals with products of perishable nature and therefore we follow a strict protocol on Refund and Exchange Policy. To begin with, all our products are carefully packed and delivered with caution so as to deliver the products in perfect shape and quality, keeping up with hygiene standards and SOP.

Inspect the contents before paying COD.

To avoid any unnecessary inconvenience, We recommend that you thoroughly inspect the contents your package as soon as you receive them before you pay to our Delivery Representative who will gladly wait at your door while you inspect your package.

Report/complain immediately or within 24 hours.

In an unlikely event that the contents of your package are faulty, not what you ordered, or you are not satisfied with our service, you may,

a) Report immediately to our Delivery Representative who will communicate with Order And Delivery Manager to sort your issue. This is the best way to avoid any delays in processing your complains.

b) Contact us on any of MeatLo! numbers within 24 hours of delivery and our Customer Care Representatives will review your complain and inspect the matter.

Eligibility for refund/exchange.

Since the nature of your product is perishable, eligibility for refund or exchange follows a very thin ice. When you make a complain, our Customer Care Representative will review your complain on the following eligibility.

  1. You complained immediately or within 24 hours of delivery.
  2. The products of your package are not fresh or do not fit on standard quality.
  3. The products are stinky or they look stale upon viewing.
  4. The package is not what you ordered or you are given a wrong package.
  5. The package is not complete, has more items (not what you added) or missing some items.
  6. You underpaid or overpaid.
  7. You have proof to backup your complain.

Time duration for successful refund/exchange.

Our Customer Care Representatives are one of our quickest departments because we believe in solving our customer’s problem as soon as possible. We have a 100% customer satisfaction rate and we love to keep it that way. Most of the complaints made immediately to our Delivery Representatives are handled within 24 hours, However, some complains take time to process based on eligibility for Refund/Exchange and can take about 3 to 4 working days for a successful refund/exchange.

What we are not liable for.

  1. We are not liable for any complaints made after 24 hours of product delivery because of the perishable nature of our product.
  2. We always ask customers to inspect their product before paying and hence not liable to any refund/exchange because of customer’s lack of inspection.
  3. The product was spoilt because it was left unattended by customer.
  4. The product was not stored in cool and dry atmosphere by the customer after it was delivered.
  5. It was not cooked properly as per the cooking requirement of the meat cut.
  6. Any health problems arising from mistreated, undercooked or unattended consumption of our product after it was delivered in good shape.
  7. Negligence of a customer with regards to treating the product or consumption of it.
  8. Any food allergies caused by our products.
  9. Seasonal shortage of product, shortage due to national fluctuation in product or because of price spike.

Disclaimer:

When a product is delivered to you, we expect the customers to make a full inspection of the product before they pay to the Delivery Representative. Once the COD is made, it is assumed that the product delivered was in good shape, good quality and was exactly as per customer’s satisfaction. This nullifies any further eligibility for Refund/Exchange, but we will still look into the matter based on the policy stated above.
